JOLIETTE - ARENC

Facing the coastline, La Joliette has many strengths. It enjoys a strategic location between the port and downtown, remarkable accessibility (connections to the airport, TGV train station, highways, trunk lines) and two lines of mass transit: the subway and the new Blancarde-Euroméditerranée Gantes tram.

The Euroméditerranée project broke ground in 1992, with the renovation of the Docks building, completed in 2002, and the development of the Place de la Joliette, completed in 1998. Since then, the area has been transformed into an attractive and dynamic business district of international scope.

This service sector business district already hosts 12,000 employees at 800 companies representing target sectors such as services, education, international trade and telecommunications.

While strengthening the promotion of the business district to users and investors, Euroméditerranée is creating housing for downtown office workers and residents. New residences, buildings and public spaces located between the city and the port intertwine to make this place a desirable place to live and work.
