Consultation is a major part of the Euroméditerranée Urban Development Agency’s operation. The agency arranges opportunities for discussion for all users affected by the operation, including information meetings, participatory workshops, walking tours, focus group sessions, and more. These meetings allow residents to talk about their experiences, expectations and concerns. Euroméditerranée can then use the feedback to improve ongoing and future development projects.
Euroméditerranée takes a holistic approach to citizen participation across the ensure district, but organises specific consultation opportunities by location.
Bougainville - Les Crottes village centre
For the renovation of the village centre, Euroméditerranée is actively seeking feedback from local residents. Their knowledge of the area, its history and the way things are currently run is invaluable to the project’s success.
Since 2016, numerous meetings were held with local residents to jointly design Parc Bougainville, both its temporary facilities as well as its permanent ones.
