Further to the opening of the Joliette business district, this building was rehabilitated by its owner in 2004. In particular, it is home to several national services of the Compass group (world’s leading collective catering group) better known by the name EUREST in Marseilles, the ship-owners Maersk and Cosco and the Iter project governmental management centre.

The architectural proposal to convert this building into offices was voluntarily based on the existing quality of the façade framework without ever seeking to modify it. The work of the architects focussed on complete requalification of the building while keeping the existing outlines and volumes.
