The new Fonds Régional d'Art Contemporain de Marseille is located in the Joliette district, an area undergoing full urban re-structuring and which has excellent public transport services.
It is home to several exhibition, conference and documentary resource centres and catering.
The FRAC, designed by the Japanese architect Kengo Kuma & Associates, is one of the Marseille-Provence 2013 certified projects, European Capital of Culture.
