The complete refection of the public land along rue de la République and on the place Sadi Carnot was carried out alongside the work on the tramway.

To improve the commercial attractiveness of the street, the pavements were widened, 200 trees were planted and public lighting redesigned.

Development of the public land also came together with rehabilitation of the buildings, led by ANF-Eurazeo and ATEMI.
