Major - Dunkerque tunnel

The Major - Dunkerque tunnel, delivered in 2002, improved the outgoing traffic flow from the town, reduced noise pollution and provided for the development of the districts above ground. 21,000 cars use it daily.

Commissioning of the two tunnels Major - Dunkerque (south north direction) and Joliette (north south direction) makes it possible to cross Marseilles from one end to the other of the Vieux Port.
