Deviation of the Lajout SNCF tunnel led to the reconstruction of this town gymnasium inaugurated in 2000. First new public facilities in the neighbourhood, the gymnasium was designed by Rémi Marciano, who won the Première oeuvre award attributed by Le Moniteur.
The location of the gymnasium, behind the boundary of the rue de Ruffi means play areas can be set up in the remaining pavement strip. There are also pétanque strips in place.
Inside the gymnasium we can find changing rooms, an infirmary and practice areas. A handball court, a basketball court and a jumping area complete the outside of the complex.
